Here you will find all of the LIVING ARCANIS adventures that have been released for general play. Any adventure that you download from this website is campaign-legal and may be played at any convention, game day, retail store event, or home game. The adventures on this page are INTRODUCTORY adventures, specifically designed to introduce new players to the World of Shattered Empires.
Since the departure of LIVING ARCANIS from the RPGA at the end of February 2007, we have not had a "table tracking" component to the campaign. We may add a feature of this nature to the website in the future. For now, however, you do not need to register or report your play of LIVING ARCANIS scenarios. Each adventure download includes the certificate file for that scenario, so you should have everything you need. If you encounter any issues with any of the adventure downloads, however, please contact the webmaster and let us know about the problem. Thanks and have fun!

In a move unprecedented in the history of Coryani politics, Pollux Pulcher val'Assanté forsook his Val family name and all his rights and privileges thereto. Instead, he married into the Gracchi family, perhaps the most powerful human family in the Empire. The newly-minted Pollux Pulcher Gracchi now seeks to become the leader of the Plebian Assembly, second in power only to the Coryani Senate and the Emperor himself. Of course, the only way business gets done in the Assembly is through the tireless efforts of a legion of pages, who carry messages, perform errands, and clean up "messes" of all sorts. Your new job as one of Pollux's pages should be very interesting indeed. Note: Pre-generated characters can be downloaded from the "pre-gen" stable at Onara Online, but some or all of the players may instead bring their own characters. This adventure is designed to introduce players to the city of Grand Coryan, capitol of the mighty Coryani Empire. One great way to bring new players into the campaign would be to run this adventure, then run either Carnival of Swords or The Year of Ill Harvest (or both). This INTRODUCTORY adventure is designed for characters of 1st to 5th level (APLs 1 through 5).

There are many rules of law civilizations live under. The law of nations, the laws of common kindness and decency, the laws of the gods: all these and more govern our lives. Sometimes these laws must by necessity contradict each other for the general welfare of all. When the sanctity of life and soul are involved, which law must take precedence? This choice is placed into the heroes' hands. Is mercy a crime, even when it can be considered treason? Note: This adventure is intended to serve as an introduction to the campaign for new players, but it can be played and enjoyed by veterans as well. It features more role-playing than combat, though there are opportunities for both kinds of characters to shine. This INTRODUCTORY adventure is designed for characters of 1st to 5th level (APLs 2 through 5).

Altheria, nation of scholars, is both reclusive and isolated, but also an integral trading partner amongst the human nations due to its monopoly on the creation of Blast Powder, the second gift of Althares. Now, Altheria is beholden to the Seremasi Enclave of Elorii, with whom they have signed a Treaty of Protection. This adventure was written to provide a strong introduction to the Arcanis setting, and the rules-base that is used in the campaign. While this adventure includes tiering for APLs above 1, it was written for 1st level characters, and players are encouraged to play new characters in this adventure, although they are certainly allowed to play any character that falls within the listed level range. This adventure includes pre-generated characters for players who do not have a character. This INTRODUCTORY adventure is designed for characters of 1st to 8th level (APLs 2 through 7).
