Paradigm Concepts is pleased to announce that the following LIVING ARCANIS premiere events will be offered at Gen Con Indianapolis and Gen Con UK 2007.
As part of the "James Zwiers Experience" at Gen Con 2007 we are offering three premiere one-round soft points (one Standard, one Story, and one Delve) as well as a two-round Battle Interactive.
Note (2007-07-28): The scenario codes/numbers that we published on this website originally, as well as on the Gen Con website, are incorrect. The corrected numbers are listed below. The scenario names and their ordering have not changed, just the codes, so the scheduling / ordering of the adventures at Gen Con does not need to be adjusted.
LA-SP5-11
Flowering of the Blood Vine by James Zwiers
A voice, strained and scratchy, calls out a warning. "Into the rising dark a tide of blood will ebb and flow. Only the flowering of the blood vine to herald this doom, and none to pay the costs that must be paid to stem this terrible flow." The speaker, a woman, collapses, her eyes streaming tears of blood that fall in time with the slowing beat of her failing heart.
This adventure is the sequel to LA-SP3-18 Emergence of the Spurned and LA-SP4-04 Under a Dying Sun. While it is highly recommended that you have played both prior adventures, it is not required. It is also recommended that at least one character at the table possess the Key of Uk’kirin certificate; succeeding at this adventure is possible without that device, but the challenge will be much greater.
This STANDARD adventure is designed for 1st-18th level characters (APLs 2-19).
LA-SP5-12
Blood Calls to Blood by James Zwiers
All that lives must die, passing through nature to eternity.
~ William Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act I, Sc. 2
This adventure is the sequel to LA-SP5-11 Flowering of the Blood Vine. While it is highly recommended that you have played the prior adventures, it is not necessary. This is a roleplaying-intensive scenario. The few combat episodes are carefully designed to be independent of the character being played, which means that tables may be formed without regard to the levels of individual characters. It is recommended that PCs who are well-versed in various forms of knowledge, or who have the ability to discover lost lore, be played in this adventure.
This STORY-FOCUSED scenario is designed for ALL characters (regardless of APL).
LA-SP5-13
Expedition to Goram'Zob by James Zwiers
Foreign stars watch over a long-forgotten city. Ravaged by a millenium of blood and warfare, its former masters are now the mastered. Into this maelstrom you must delve to discover the nefarious plans of others and perhaps to find that which has been lost.
This adventure is the sequel to LA-SP5-12 Blood Calls to Blood. While it is highly recommended that you have played the prior adventures, it is not necessary. This is a DUNGEON DELVE adventure. It is intended to be combat intensive and challenging to complete. Players are advised to bring characters that are well suited to large quantities of combat.
This DUNGEON DELVE is designed for 3rd-18th level characters (APLs 2-21). 1st-level and 2nd-level characters may be played but are highly unlikely to survive.
LA-BI5-03
Reclamation of Goram'Zob by James Zwiers
Forces gather on a plain soaked with the blood of a thousand years of slaughter. Onto this red field march forces both ancient and newly-born. A conflict to determine the fate of two peoples; a conflict to stop the rise of a terrible foe. Will you lend your blade to the Forces of the Empires of Man?
This is the sequel to LA-SP5-13 Expedition to Zoram'Gob. While it is highly recommended that you have played the prior adventures, it is not necessary. This is a BATTLE INTERACTIVE, and as such consists of large amounts of combat with little or no rest time between encounters. Players are highly advised to only bring characters who are designed for intensive combat to this event, although they may choose to bring any character they wish.
This BATTLE INTERACTIVE is designed for 3rd-18th level characters (APLs 2-21). 1st-level and 2nd-level characters may be played but are highly unlikely to survive.
Thanks for your support of LIVING ARCANIS and we look forward to seeing you at Gen Con Indianapolis and Gen Con UK 2007!
