Then, the Path of Anshar, carrying away the Joy of Anshar's broken body, walked out of the great circle of believers with the Tears of Anshar in her train. As the throngs of believers watched in sorrow, the Empathy of Anshar walked among Her faithful, declaring, "Blessed are the children that follow the Path of Anshar. For in Paradise, they will embrace the Goddess' Joy, and they will not dance alone."

A series of mysterious deaths plague the City of Leaves, but the victims are not important or powerful enough to draw the attention of the city watch. In fact, some of the city's authorities might even be pleased about the situation. Will you and your companions take up the investigation, or will you stand by and do nothing as this fatal dance continues until the music stops forever?

This INTRODUCTORY adventure is designed for 1st to 5th level characters (APLs 1, 2, 3, and 5).

As a new spring falls upon the nation of Milandir, the first flowers push out through winter’s thawing veil, offering their fragrance to the insects and birds that are waking from their long sleep. The frozen ground yields to sown seed, winter's hoarded goods are readied for market and the powerful and wealthy drink in fresh news and consider their plans anew. Everywhere, the promise of another year’s profits stir people from their winter rest to act. Perhaps you should do the same, lest last year's prosperity fall into this season's ruin.

This STANDARD adventure is designed for characters of 1st to 14th level (APLs 1-13).

In the wild forests north of Lustia, the town of Waldweg has forged a life for itself through wars, famines and calamities under the protection of the val'Dellenovs for centuries. Present day, Sir Lukis Gelbachen and his wife, Lady Ursula val'Dellenov serve the freemen of the town, managing the land with a just and fair hand. Now, after decades of moonlit silence, old legends stalk the deep woods under a verdant moon.

This adventure begins the Under a Verdant Moon series. This adventure may be of particular interest to members of the Orthodoxy and Azure Way, as well as Mourners in Silence. However, having any such characters in the party is by no means required. Characters who prefer to solve problems solely using "diplomacy of the sword" will find this adventure especially difficult.

This STANDARD scenario is designed for characters of 2nd to 14th level (APLs 3 through 13).
