Metra 01-01: "Decadence & Discipline" by Joe Cirillo (click to download)

It is the week before Alphaeus Jona’s arranged wedding to Talia val’Borda of Plexus.  Friends, foes, political allies and adversaries alike have descended on the capital city of Metra to gain favor or spread fervor during the festivities.

This adventure is intended to serve as a role-playing intensive introduction to the Invisible Kings Domain of Metra.

This LIVING ARCANIS INTRODUCTORY adventure is designed for 1st to 5th level characters (APL 2, 3, and 5).

Metra 01-02: "Shed Light, Shed Blood" by Joe Cirillo (v1.3; click to download)
OPTIONAL: Miniatures-Scale (1") Battle Map Tiles for "Shed Light, Shed Blood" by Rob Taylor

The wedding festivities of Satrap Alphaeus Jona and Talia val'Borda have come to an end. The celebration now turns to retribution. The city of Metra is turned upside down to find an unlikely co-conspirator in the unsuccessful assassination attempt on young Talia. What is uncovered is far worse than initially anticipated.

This scenario is a continuation of LA-IK-MET-01-01 Decadence & Discipline and thus it is recommended that players select characters that have participated in that event.

This STANDARD adventure is designed for 1st- to 8th-level characters (APLs 2, 3, 5, and 7). Characters of 9th level and above may not be played in this scenario.

Metra 01-03: "The Doom that Came to Eppion" by Sean Smith (v1.3; click to download)
OPTIONAL: Miniatures-Scale (1") Battle Map Tiles for "The Doom that Came to Eppion" by Rob Taylor

The Satrapy of Eppion pays tribute in gold to the Emperor once every year. This year's shipment, on a vessel laden with its tributary gold cargo, set sail from Metra's industrious port heading for Plexus. That ship never reached the Coryani Empire. What lies beneath the waves off Metra? What new doom comes to Eppion?

Important Note: Some of the scenes in this adventure deal with mature themes and content. Annotations are provided for the GM to adapt the adventure so that it fits the sensibilities of the players.

This STANDARD adventure is designed for 1st- to 8th-level characters (APLs 2, 3, 5, and 7). Characters of 9th level and above may not be played in this scenario.

Metra 01-04: "In All Their Sable Majesty" by Joe Cirillo (v1.3; click to download)

The death of a simple cleric of the Mother Church usually brings on a brief time of mourning to reflect. But in Metra, it is a time for escalation as the Satrap's secret war against the Blackthorn’s Order of the Twilight Bough bowery rages on, victim by victim. And when a cleric does die in Metra, opportunity usually knocks... but not usually on this particular door.

This STANDARD adventure is designed for 2nd to 10th level characters (APLs 3, 5, 7, and 9). A table of all 2nd-level characters may have difficulty successfully completing the adventure. Characters of 11th level and above may not be played in this scenario.

NOTE: Characters are required to swear a Sarishan Oath in order to participate in this adventure. Do not bring a character to this adventure who would be unwilling to swear such an oath under any circumstances.

Metra 02-01: "Said My Name is Called Disturbance" by Joe Cirillo (v1.3; click to download)
OPTIONAL: Miniatures-Scale (1") Battle Map Tiles for "Said My Name is Called Disturbance"

The more one gets ingrained in the inner workings of Metra, the more likely that person has a chance of becoming ‘a casualty’ or causing one themselves. This is one of those times. It is highly recommended to have played the previous adventures of “The Doom That Came to Eppion” and “In All Their Sable Majesty”.

This STANDARD adventure is designed for 2nd to 14th level characters (APLs 3 through 13).

Metra 02-02: "The Warlord of Quagga" by Sean Smith (v3.0; click to download)
OPTIONAL: Miniatures-Scale (1") Battle Map Tiles for "The Warlord of Quagga"

Years ago, the mixed blooded Centurion Ig of the Many Tongues led a small cohort of legionnaires into Uggur on a secret quest. He was never heard from again. In an effort to gain favor with Emperor Calsestus, the Satrap of Eppion is hiring search parties to discover if the whispered rumors are true. Does Quagga indeed have a new warlord, and who will he serve?

This STANDARD adventure is designed for 1st to 18th level characters (APLs 2 through 17).

Metra 02-03: "A Confluence of Thorns" by Chris Sanders (v3.0; click to download)

Alphaeus' gambit has born fruit and the Warlord has come. Metra trembles at his footsteps, with her people fearing that his armies are not far behind. The Satrap calls for the Council of Lords, so that all may see his new ally and know his strength. But is the Warlord of Quagga content to be a hound for show, or has he come with his own plots in mind?
It is highly recommended you play The Warlord of Quagga before playing this scenario.

This STANDARD adventure is designed for 3rd to 18th level characters (APLs 3 through 17).

Metra 02-04: "Where the Streets are Paved with Blood" by Joe Cirillo (v4.0; click to download)

The Satrap of Eppion has always preferred fighting his own battles within the shadows of Metra while maintaining strict order amongst his masses. But on a day that will either live in infamy or glory within the annals of history, a city will come alive out of those same shadows with unlikely enemies and allies alike. It is time to choose who you shall serve. As this is the third part of a trilogy, it is recommended to play this adventure after The Warlord of Quagga and A Confluence of Thorns.
Warning: This event is a two-track adventure, dependent upon where your loyalties lie with Metra and the Coryani Empire as a whole. This is also a combat intensive adventure and therefore has been given the “Crawl” designation.

This CRAWL adventure is designed for 3rd to 18th level characters (APLs 3 through 17).
